Microsoft has released both the 32-bit and the 64-bit flavors of the Vista SP2 RTM MUI Language Packs on Windows Update for the following languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian. Only Vista SP2 Ultimate users, as well as companies running the Ultimate equivalent, namely Enterprise, will be able to take advantage of the SP2 RTM MUI Language Packs. And just as it was the case with previous releases of the packs, as well as the similar bits for Windows 7, the Vista SP2 RTM MUI Language Packs are designed to integrate exclusively with the high-end edition of the operating system. As was the case for Vista SP1, no less than 34 languages are supported by the MUI Language Packs. With the latest wave of Vista SP2 RTM downloads Microsoft has managed to deliver the second service pack for the precursor of Windows 7 in the localized versions for all supported languages of the operating system. The end of June brought with it the release of the remaining versions of Windows Vista Service Pack 2. With the second service pack for Windows Vista wrapped up and offered for download as standalone releases as well as updates through Windows Update, Microsoft is offering customers worldwide the option to install multiple languages for the platform, and seamlessly switch between them.
